The Cramlington pharmaceutical manufacturing facility commenced operations in 1975 and employs approximately 400 people today. The site has benefited from a number of major investment programmes over the years, including a world renowned automated packaging plant in 1993, which is recognised as a centre of excellence throughout the industry. It is the company's largest formulation and packaging facility outside the United States.
