Around 450 employees are based at Hoddesdon, where teams are responsible for sales and marketing, medical services, market research and administration.
Hoddesdon houses one of Merck & Co., Inc.’s Pharmaceutical Research and Development laboratories, which develops potential drugs into marketable products.
The Hoddesdon site has recently undergone a £185 million expansion programme, including a new headquarters building and a state-of-the-art pre-clinical development facility which is now a global centre of excellence in chemistry.
