Q: How much responsibility were you given during your placement year?

A:‘A great deal of responsibility was given to me and I was able to use my initiative in supporting different areas of the business. Being given real projects to work on for colleagues in other departments within the organisation was highly enjoyable and challenging.’(IT)

Q: To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

A: ‘The skills I have developed with MSD will assist me immensely in my final year as well as beyond. The interpersonal, organisation, communication and project management skills that I have developed will enable me to be more efficient in my studies, when working as a team or independently.
